Kauppalehti: Investment company purchases the shares of Netox Oy
Samira Holding becomes a new shareholder of the Oulu-based Netox Oy. The investment company purchased 15 per cent of Netox’s shares.
Netox Oy, a company specialising in information management, ICT management for SMEs, standardisation of technical infrastructure and demanding information security solutions, started to look for a partner for strategic development this spring.
Another Oulu-based company, Samira Holding, was chosen as the co-operation partner. Samira Holding was ranked the best company in the Oulu region in Kauppalehti’s list of successful companies for 2008. After the acquisition, Samira’s Managing Director Sami Nauha will become a member of Netox’s Board of Directors.
According to Managing Director Nauha, Netox’s continuous growth in a globally difficult economic situation shows that the business concept of the company is solid.
Netox’s business operations have grown for the last five years and the growth this year has been nearly one third of that of the previous accounting period. The turnover of slightly over one million euros in 2008 generated a profit of over 78,000 euros.
